Estimation of Coastal Suspended Particulate Matter Concentration
Suspended sediment dominated the case-II water of the southern coast of Korea. Field experiments with a spectroradiometer and in-situ measurements
of suspended particulate matter by filtering gave an understanding of the relationship between the spectral characteristics of the suspended sediment.
To optimize the empirical algorithm for estimating the concentration of suspended sediments, coefficients was derived from the relationship between
in-situ measurements and satellite data.
